Akya

For the mid-seasons, we made a lighter version of our Akya wool throw. These throw blankets are woven on wooden handlooms in the ancient city of Antakya, between the Syrian border and the Levantine Mediterranean Sea. In one of Turkey's few remaining authentic handweaving ateliers, a family of master weavers continue to cultivate their centuries-old tradition.

The Akya throw is woven from virgin wool in a subtle herringbone pattern.
